One of my all-time favorite metal singers died today. Ronnie James Dio, vocalist for Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow, Black Sabbath, his own solo career, and the Sabbath-without-Ozzy band Heaven and Hell, lost his battle with stomach cancer.
